SET DESIGNER

Job Summary:
​

We are looking for a talented set designer to join our team and create post-apocalyptic cyberpunk settings for our immersive entertainment experiences (whoa—yes). The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating innovative and engaging spaces that transport audiences to other worlds. The successful candidate will have experience in set design and construction, as well as a strong knowledge of the latest technologies and trends in immersive experiences. Let’s build something wild and new and fun!

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the production team to develop the overall vision for the experience

  • Design and create detailed plans for the set, incorporating the latest technology and creative ideas

  • Build and construct the set, including set pieces, props, and other elements, using a variety of materials and techniques

  • Oversee the set construction process, ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards of quality and creativity

  • Communicate with other departments, such as lighting and sound, to ensure that the set design integrates seamlessly with the other elements of the experience

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in set design and construction, with a strong portfolio demonstrating past work

  • A deep knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in immersive experiences, including virtual and augmented reality

  • Strong skills in 3D design and visualization software such as SketchUp, Rhino, or Vectorworks

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals

  • Ability to wear multiple hats and help with sound, lighting, and other special effects

LIGHTING DESIGNER

Job Summary:
​

We are seeking an experienced lighting designer to join our creative team to help us build futuristic, immersive entertainment experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pushing the boundaries of lighting design and be able to create dynamic and immersive lighting effects that transport our audience into a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk world (oh yessssss). You will work alongside a talented team to create an unforgettable experience that engages and captivates audiences. It’s going downnnn!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute lighting design plans for large-scale immersive experiences.

  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop and design the visual language of the project.

  • Work with the technical team to implement and program complex lighting effects that align with the creative vision of the project.

  • Design and develop custom lighting fixtures and installations that enhance the overall look and feel of the experience.

  • Conduct research on new and emerging lighting technologies and techniques to bring a futuristic edge to the project.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a lighting designer for large-scale projects, preferably in immersive or experiential environments.

  • Expertise in the use of lighting control systems, including programming and troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Moodboards, Design Narratives, Technical Scripts, Design Drawings, Mock-Ups, and 3D Pre-Visualizations.

  • Experience with designing and programming large and small-scale custom lighting projects such as pixel arrays, embedded lighting, scenic design, custom fixture design, etc.

  • Familiarity with Vectorworks Spotlight, and/or AutoCAD, Revit.

  • Experience with Video Design, Projection Design, and Pixel Mapping

SOUND DESIGNER

Job Summary:
​

We are seeking a talented Sound Designer to create an otherworldly audio experience for our immersive entertainment buildouts. As a Sound Designer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing audio effects and music that will transport our audience to a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk world (that’s right—ohhh yea), creating an unforgettable experience. You will work closely with our production team to understand the creative vision of the project and ensure that the audio elements not only complement but also enhance the overall vision. Mic drop!

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement audio effects and music that support the creative vision of the project.

  • Collaborate with the production team to understand the creative direction and ensure that the audio elements align with the overall vision.

  • Work with the technical team to ensure that the audio elements are integrated seamlessly into the production, including creating and mixing audio files and making sure audio equipment is fully operational.

Requirements:​

  • 3+ years of experience as a Sound Designer

  • Experience with scoring film, video games, immersive, or non-linear experiences.

  • Strong knowledge of sound design principles and audio production tools.

  • Experience with immersive audio design and spatial sound is preferred.

  • Familiarity with QSys, Dante, or audio over network protocols.

  • Experience with advanced audio techniques like generative audio, interactive audio, and wavefield synthesis.

  • An understanding of audio spatialization, spatial sound design, and spatial mixing techniques.

  • Experience with additional creative programming environments (Max/MSP, Jitter, Processing).

  • Familiarity with Revit, AutoCad, Bim360, and/or BlueBeam

FOOD & BEV MANAGER

Job Summary:
​

We are seeking a creative and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to shape and manage a cyberpunk-themed immersive dining experience for our guests (weird probably – cool definitely). The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and beverage service and be able to create a unique and memorable dining experience that leaves a lasting impression on our guests. The successful candidate will be able to draw from their previous experiences in order to create and manage a one-of-a-kind dining destination. Cheers to your inner cyberpunk!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a creative and immersive dining experience that sets our restaurant and bar apart from others.

  • Oversee all aspects of food and beverage service, including hiring and training staff, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and ensuring that all safety and health regulations are met.

  • Serve as the day-to-day general manager in order to make sure each guest has a positive experience

  • Create and manage budgets, forecast sales, and analyze financial data to ensure profitability and sustainability of the restaurant.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, including experience in building and managing a successful restaurant.

  • Proven track record of creating and implementing innovative and immersive dining experiences.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of staff.

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Knowledge of food and beverage industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.

CREATIVE WRITER

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented creative writer to join our team and help craft a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk narrative that will captivate and delight our audiences (if this excites you, read on—if not, STOPPP before it’s too late!) In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the story, dialogue, and characters that will bring our immersive experiences to life. You will work closely with a team of set/lighting/sound designers to create a truly unique and unforgettable experience that will transport our guests to another world. Responsibilities:

  • Develop a compelling and immersive story that engages audiences and encourages them to explore the experience.

  • Create memorable characters and write compelling dialogue that brings the story to life.

  • Craft additional elements that help enhance and breathe additional life into the narrative (diary entries, newspaper articles, brief videos, etc.)

  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and technologists to integrate the story into the overall experience and ensure that it is seamless and immersive.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a creative writer, preferably with a focus on immersive experiences, theater, or film

  • A genuine passions for science fiction and/or futuristic books, movies, and related media

  • A strong portfolio of writing samples that demonstrate your ability to craft engaging stories and memorable characters.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of artists, designers, and technologists.

  • A passion for creating immersive experiences that transport audiences to other worlds and push the boundaries of what is possible.
